Forget the Facelift and Fillers: TempSure Envi Reduces Wrinkles with Noninvasive Radiofrequency Tech

At the Eyecare Center of Snohomish,  Rene’ Steele, our Master Esthetician, offers TempSure Envi to Reduce Wrinkles.

Age and time can do a number on your skin, leaving behind a veritable roadmap of your life in the form of lines, wrinkles, and sagging tissue. While there’s no shortage of products and services that can help dial back the years, they usually come at a cost. Whether it’s a facelift that requires considerable downtime or fillers that come in needles, few of these anti-aging techniques offer a noninvasive avenue to a younger-looking you.

At the Eyecare Center of Snohomish,  Rene’ Steele, our Master Esthetician, offers a suite of services that not only improve how you see, but how you’re seen. On the aesthetic side of our practice, we’ve equipped ourselves with a revolutionary tool that tightens aging skin without breaking into it — using radiofrequency energy.

Here’s a look at how you can forget the facelift and fillers and reduce your wrinkles with the noninvasive TempSure™ Envi.

The skin you’re in

To better understand how our cutting-edge Envi system works, it can be helpful to step back and take a look at what we’re up against in terms of aging skin.

The formation of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as sagging skin, is inevitable as time goes by for several reasons. To start, years of exposure to the sun’s strong ultraviolet rays prematurely breaks down your skin cells and collagen fibers in a process known as photoaging. And this effect is sped up in areas that are the most exposed — your face and neck.

As well, as you age, your tissue naturally loses its structure as the production of the proteins responsible for skin support — collagen and elastin — begins to wane. This loss starts slowly enough, usually in your 30s, but becomes more pronounced with age when it combines with the forces of photoaging. For women passing through menopause, the loss of hormones accelerates the drop-off of collagen and elastin and aging skin can appear in earnest.

Restoring structure with Envi

Since the loss of collagen and elastin plays a key role in the development of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin, one of the best ways to tackle aging skin is to reboot the production of these structural proteins.

With our TempSure Envi system, we deliver radiofrequency into your tissue, which absorbs the energy as heat. This heat elicits a mild healing response in your body, which provides a wake-up call for your collagen.

While you may notice tighter skin immediately after your TempSure Envi treatment, the real work takes place during the following weeks. In about 7-10 days after your treatment, fibroblasts accumulate in your dermis to synthesize new collagen and elastin through the release of tissue growth factors.

During the next 3-4 weeks, your skin rebuilds itself from within with renewed collagen fibers, smoothing out the surface of your skin and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

The TempSure Envi treatment

As we promised in the beginning, the TempSure Envi treatment is completely noninvasive. When we deliver the radiofrequency energy, it passes harmlessly through your epidermis to your dermis.

The system comes equipped with Therapeutic Logic Control, which activates a timer when your tissue has reached the correct therapeutic temperature. This feature ensures your comfort, as well as even results across your skin.

There’s no downtime after your treatment with us, which means you’re free to get on with your day without skipping a beat.
