Anup Deol, OD, is a highly experienced optometrist who provides a complete range of general and preventive eye care services to patients of all ages. At Eyecare Center of Snohomish, her welcoming office located in historic downtown Snohomish, Washington, Dr. Deol is dedicated to providing thorough, thoughtful eye and vision care to every patient she sees.
As a fully licensed optometrist with nearly three decades in practice, Dr. Deol has the training and expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat the conditions and diseases that can affect your ocular health or interfere with your vision, including dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.
A native of India, Dr. Deol moved to the United States in 1975. After graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle with a degree in biology in 1987, she went on to pursue her doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Following her graduation in 1991, she completed her residency training in eye disease at the Huntington VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.
Upon her return to Washington, Dr. Deol worked under ophthalmologist Lee Harman, MD, FACS for over a year before going into practice for herself in 1994, when she acquired the Eyecare Center of Snohomish.
As someone who believes that everyone should have access to quality eye and vision care, Dr. Deol provides free vision exams for underprivileged families through the Lion’s Club program and a few community churches.
She’s also committed to bringing first-rate eye and vision care to communities around the world that don’t usually have access to such services. She’s helped conduct eye medical missions through Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) in Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Ethiopia, India, Samoa, and Russia.
